Black Chalk INVERSION 2020 English Sparkling Wine

Inversion 2020 is a rare gem, with only 1,939 bottles crafted. This Blanc de Noir style wine is a symphony of elegance and power.

Powerful and expressive on the palate and jam packed with red fruit; Inversion has a definite grown up edge but it’s acidic back bone (the hallmark for all their wines) really cleanses the palate. A truly special wine.

"Most winemaking is just about crops or farming; Black Chalk is about artistry" Zoë Driver, Winemaker.

Grape Varieties: 83% Pinot Noir, 17% Pinot Meunier (clones 777, 386, 521, 817).

How long does it take?

Typically two or three days.  But experience warns us not to promise that this will always happen, so if you need something by a certain date, give us a ring, and we will do our best to ensure it happens.

What time will it arrive?

Usually deliveries take place between 8am to 7pm, Monday to Friday.

Do I need to be at the delivery address when my wine arrives?

Not if you have told us that your wine can be left somewhere for you.  Make sure you leave clear instructions when you place your order - there is an opportunity to do this when you pay.  Alternatively, the driver will leave a card with a telephone number for you to ring to rearrange delivery another time, following which you must do so within 3 days or the wine will come back to us.

Finally...

When you’ve got hold of your wine, do inspect it as soon as possible.  In the extremely unlikely event that something is broken or missing, let us know straight away so that we can sort it out for you.
